It made sense, Ash realized. Kim had been the one who had made sure Luke died in the helicopter crash, just in case mind control was unable to make it happen. She had been the one who had locked the trapdoor in the refugee cave, and sent a signal to bring the Authorities to them. Because the Authorities already knew where the refugees were, the signal had most likely just been to tell them when to attack. Allison hadn’t been the traitor; it had been Kim, and yet Ash hadn’t seen it.
