The Insurgency is a group of insurgent soldiers from the army of the Authorities, started by Allison.

“I came to, I think, the same realization you came to not long ago. I knew I had to start a revolution. I knew I had to do all in my power to overthrow the Authorities, to put an end to their destructive and tyrannical reign. But I knew I couldn’t be rash. I couldn’t make big moves and risk immediate death. I had to be slow. Cautious. I planned what I had to do, and knew that the way to defeat the Authorities was by turning their own army against them. So I started doing that. I planted seeds of revolutionary ideas inside the minds of my fellow soldiers, gradually helping them see the light, but not so fast that it would arouse suspicion. Everything I had to do had to be covert and carefully executed. So, over the course of six years, the Insurgency has been born. Kind of like the uprising before the Uprising."
