Rowan Yang is the former student of Xavier Lane.

His face was gaunt, and his left eye was bloodshot and swollen. A tangled mess of dark brown hair fell down to his shoulders. Faint stubble lined his face. He looked like some sort of vulnerable animal, and his one good eye shifted warily over Ash, deep with fear and mistrust, twitching involuntarily.... One of his hands was covered in burn marks. He wore a thin silver jacket over a ragged white shirt dotted with holes, a pair of gray jeans, and threadbare black gloves.
