The New York Airport is visited by numerous characters, including the survivors of The Legend.

We’d been brought [to the airport] by an escort of police officers, who stood on either side of the bench we sat on. According to what we’d been told, all of the surviving passengers and crew of The Legend had reached Grand Cayman by lifeboat in the evacuation, and the crew had eventually arranged for several large commercial planes to transport everyone to New York. The planes would be landing at the airport we’d been brought to within the hour. The planes that carried our families, friends, and everyone else we’d known aboard The Legend who was still alive. I was relieved to hear they were safe, but that didn’t stop me from feeling anxious to see them in person.

Less than half an hour later, the planes arrived at the terminal gates around us.
