Ernest Stein is a doctor from Germany hired to work aboard The Legend.

Judging by the outfit, he was the ship medic, and his name tag read Dr. Ernest Stein. Dr. Ernest looked about fifty, with a bald head and dark, concerned eyes.

“Strangled to death,” came Dr. Ernest’s voice from behind me. I turned to see him kneeling by Craig’s body, examining it. “He was given a sedative beforehand, then strangled once he was unconscious.” He wrote on a clipboard, then handed it to one of the guards. Two other crew members started dragging the body onto a stretcher.
