The person took a shaky breath and then cautiously moved out toward the open, hands in the air. “Now drop your weapon,” Scarlett commanded. “You’re outnumbered four to one, and we’re all armed.”

The figure dropped a rifle, and it landed on the ground with a bang.

“I mean all your weapons,” Scarlett growled.

Hesitantly, the person emptied two grenades, a small pistol, and a knife onto the ground....
