The Arcis subway is an abandoned underground train system beneath the streets of Arcis. The rebels have set up their base in the subway's tunnels and train cars.

She was in a long tunnel with rusted tracks running down it. Her surroundings were dimly lit by flickering light bulbs that hung from the ceiling. Cots filled with injured people were lined up along with hers, stretching on as far as Ash could see.... Ragged-looking people wearing tattered clothes and makeshift armor hurried around them, clutching weapons tightly. Boxes of various shapes and sizes were stacked up in random spots, some of them lying on the ground with their contents spilled on the tracks. Flickering light bulbs hung from the ceiling of the tunnel, dimly lighting the place and giving it an eerie, shadowy look.
