Arcis island, located several miles from Arcis and its nearby lighthouse, is largely forested, featuring a mountain range crossing its width. Caves and a pass through the mountains lead to the smaller, far side of the island, home to a crypt containing both human remains and a variety of artifacts. Connected to the crypt is a bunker and a system of industrial tunnels, which lead to a hangar whose open side is concealed by a waterfall falling down to the ocean below.
A pair of mountains rose from the back of the island, covered in snow and ice. The center of the island was dense with something Ash didn’t think she had ever seen before. And yet the word came straight to her mind. Trees. They resembled toothpicks covered in tiny green needles capped with snow from this far away, but they covered most of the island. Beyond the evergreen forest, on the edge of the island, was a rocky cliff jutting out over the ice. Part of it sloped down to a bank level with the frozen surface of the ocean.
