SUSPECT

13-year-old Colin Cruise is the arrogant and self-centered son of the Cruise family, owners of the massively successful CruiseTech Industries. On a vacation in upstate New York, both of his parents are mysteriously found dead - and Colin thinks he knows exactly who the murderer is. Fueled by rage and a twisted need to avenge his parents, Colin embarks on a cross-country journey to hunt down the man who murdered his mother and father, aided by his partner Jessica. But it becomes increasingly dangerous as the government launches a search for him, misled to think that Colin himself murdered his parents. Racing to find the murderer, while running from the authorities, Colin and Jessica find themselves in a situation unlike anything they've encountered before. But amidst this journey hides a secret that Colin doesn't know - a secret that could cost him everything.

Suspect Movie Review

By Silas W. (Originally published

in the River's Breeze newsletter)

This new Taylorfilms drama sets the record for most watched Taylorfilms movie within a day.

In [Suspect], there are strong positive messages about orphaned children, forgiveness, and more. There are also strong morals about forgiving those who have hurt you and having a positive impact on the world. It also covers topics about repentance, arrogance and its consequences, effects of loss, transformation, hope, and more. During the movie one of the characters has an incredible transformation. There is little violence in the movie, other than a knife, which is only in one scene. All around, this film isn’t inappropriate for children; however, it wouldn’t have as much impact to children of younger age, due to the fact that they wouldn’t understand some of the morals and messages as well as children of older age would.

This film was released on January 8th, 2019, and behind-the-scenes videos have been released since. Taylorfilms is also releasing two more films this winter, Enigma Island and Dark Waters. The cast includes Grayson Taylor, who was nominated for best featured actor in a play by BroadwayWorld.com; Ella Taylor, who was a supporting character in HBO’s The Leftovers, and their parents Bryan and Lisa Taylor. This film was directed and written by the author/filmmaker/actor Grayson Taylor. Assisting him in the directing field is Ella Taylor, who also Assistant Directed Taylorfilms’ debut film, Spy Squad. Bryan and Lisa Taylor are the executive producers behind this film. The brilliant production company behind the film is Taylorfilms, a film company that specializes in dramas and thrillers.
