A lot’s happened in the past couple of months—more than I can even get into here, but I’d like to share some highlights.
I’ve released 3 new videos on YouTube:
For an entire month, I made 1 new writing tip video every day. Here’s the result.
An exploration of how AI will change the world of books forever, including my thoughts on how writers can best respond to the technology.
A Q&A video where I answer your questions on writing, publishing, my creative process, living in NYC, and more.
I passed 10K followers on Instagram and 1K on YouTube. The Q&A video was in celebration of the 1K milestone on each.
I met up with a group of fellow YouTube creators in November to talk about the creative process. It’s fun to meet people in real life whose work you’ve followed online (like Colt Kirwan, in this case).
I updated the look of my brand to have a more literary feel—adieu, sans serif fonts (with a few exceptions… this newsletter being one). Check out my website for an example.
I’m now on Patreon, where you can support my work and get benefits in return, like access to all my books and films.
There’s much to come in the next few weeks, including a video where I travel across NYC to write scenes from my book in the real-life locations where they take place (watch the trailer here).
