Walker Ranch is a ranch in Buda, Texas, owned by the family of Harrison Walker. He helps run the ranch with his aunt Rebecca.

I live with my Aunt Rebecca, her baby Joy, eighty-six miniature horses, two llamas, three peacocks, fourteen chickens, five donkeys, and nine dogs, last time I checked. Walker Ranch has been my family’s two-hundred-acre gem for a couple generations, located in sunny Texas.... The miniature horses in the pens within the barn gravitated toward me as I entered their space, some neighing and pushing others aside for attention. Our horses didn’t get much taller than three and a half feet, far different from most of the full-sized horses in other farms. Aunt Rebecca seemed to have a liking for small beings, whether that came in the form of her baby, her small dog, or her miniature horses.

Technically, the horses didn’t belong to her—Walker Ranch was officially owned by my parents, who had received it from their parents, who had received it from their parents, and so on.
