The Rebels
The rebels are violent revolutionaries who seek to overthrow the rule of the Authorities.
There were rebel movements, as there always had been. Some were small, unorganized bands of insane people who mindlessly attacked others, but those were usually hunted down and destroyed within a short period of time. Then there were other, more organized groups, which attacked the Authorities precisely instead of brutally lashing out against them without thinking. Those lasted longer. The Authorities pretended that those rebel groups were defeated easily, and that they were just terrorists seeking to cause chaos and destruction.... The Authorities had a strong military force, though they relied mostly on numbers and the sheer destructive power of their weaponry. Nonetheless, the rebels managed to survive through guerrilla warfare. The Authorities had never managed to find their headquarters.
