Sanitation ship docks are floating docks for sanitation ships outside the main landmass of Sectors, but within their artificial atmospheres.

I looked over the edge of the floating dock and immediately wished I hadn’t. Earth lay far, far, far below, and a fall from this height would kill a person instantaneously the moment they came in contact with the ground, although they already would have died the moment they left the artificial atmosphere of the Sectors due to the toxic gases that filled the planet.
