The Military Science and Technology Administration (MSTA) is a covert U.S. government department. It investigates dangerous areas of scientific inquiry and any materials unsafe for public knowledge, including terocolinthian and mooncrystals. Jane Rodgers is a former member.

The Special Sciences Division of the MSTA, also known as the SSD, focuses on sciences other than fundamental physics, including chemistry, biology, and neuroscience.
