Praelijit is a martial art that blends elements of Eastern forms like Taekwon-Do along with Roman military tactics, sword fighting, and staff fighting. It is practiced and passed on by the Winter Guardians, and students are trained to fight in various environmental and geological conditions. The Winter Guardians have their Praelijit ranks inscribed on their staffs. Ranks are designated by symbols; it starts out as a line, and with each step up in rank, another line is marked. It eventually forms the symbol of a master, a diamond with an X in the middle.
