Night vision goggles, or NVGs, are used by Jack and other members of the Spy Squad for nighttime operations. The security force aboard The Legend also uses NVGs when hunting the murderer aboard the ship during a blackout.

Helmets of soldiers of the Authorities are equipped with night-vision mode, as are helmets of soldiers from various Sectors in Future, as well as the UltraSoldiers.

Through the night-vision goggles, I spotted three armed officers with guns drawn making their way through the rows of beach chairs. They, too, were equipped with night-vision gear.

“Any trouble with the NVG’s?” Officer Diego asked. “I can’t figure out how to disengage the binocular setting.”

“Zoom out with the knob on the side of the goggles,” Lieutenant Cliffe instructed him, sounding exasperated. “Never used a pair of NVG’s before?”
