This Brooklyn Gang rescued Casey Clark after she fell from The Seacrest.

"Casey Clark survives the fall but suffers permanent brain damage, and is found in the water by an illegal fishing boat operated by the aforementioned gang. We don’t have much evidence to back this up, since we’re dealing with the activities of a below-the-radar criminal street gang. But this is my hypothesis: Casey is found in the water by the gang and brought to land. They raise her as one of their own, training her and using her as a thief and fighter.... Casey is brought up by the gang in the run-down area of Brooklyn around the warehouse. She is, no doubt, trained in pick-pocketing, knife fighting, hand-to-hand combat, and other criminal skills. Not particularly noble, formal, or precise methods, but effective tactics. The gang uses her, but she’s so damaged and lost that she doesn’t even know she’s being used. There are a few reports of crimes involving a young girl in the area, proving the gang does employ her as an active member."
